Yesterday Anthropic announced weeks before their IPO, Claude Duet – a professional partner you can trust.
It’s basically their answer to Grok Bot, the topic of our hands-on guide (see more guides here) today by (AI Blew My Mind). Duet is a new app where Claude works as a proactive agent. It comes to you with what needs your attention, completes tasks you ask of it, keeps working when you step away, and checks with you before it acts on your behalf.
For instance for businesses, entrepreneurs, managers, executives or small business owners imagine: Duet can delivers a daily briefing and handles tasks ranging from scheduling meetings to building financial forecasts and web apps. Duet is for professionals, and thus feels polished and specialized.
The Personal Productivity Agents
The target customer audience for Claude Duet is most similar with the audience of Cursor’s Grok Bot. See the promo video.
Professionals of all kinds have to juggle many decisions a day, and Anthropic designed Claude Duet to be the most useful. Duet is built around Anthropic’s Opus 5.5 model and is initially available to US subscribers on Pro and Max plans, sharing existing usage limits. Most of our upcoming guides (this month) have to do with these Personal productivity agents.
For me Duet looks the most promising for small business owners and entrepreneurs. As to be expected, Duet integrates with over 6,000 connectors in the Claude Marketplace, including Gmail and Slack, and can make purchases via Stripe’s Link digital wallet and Shopify’s Shop pay. Claude Duet is in Research Preview and will roll-out slowly. It was announced on October 21st, 2026.

Cursor made Grok Bot’s growth is part of the reason SpaceX just released surprisingly decent Earnings. Grok Bot as of early October, 2026 has in the area of 800,000 paid weekly users.
