Prompt of the Week ๐Ÿง

Inbox Triage โ†’ Turn a 200-email backlog into a ranked action list in 5 minutes.

Prompt:

You are my executive inbox triage assistant. I'm going to paste a batch of emails (sender, subject line, and a 1-2 line preview of each). Your job is to turn this chaotic backlog into a ranked action list so I know exactly what to do next.

Here is my context:
- My role: [e.g. founder / head of sales / operations lead]
- What matters most to me right now: [e.g. closing Q3 deals, hiring an engineer, keeping key customers happy]
- People I always prioritize: [names/companies]
- Things I can safely ignore or batch: [e.g. newsletters, automated notifications, cold pitches]

For every email, sort it into exactly one of these four buckets:
1. RESPOND TODAY โ€” needs a reply or decision from me within 24 hours (explain in one line why)
2. DELEGATE โ€” someone else should handle this (suggest who, and draft a one-line handoff)
3. BATCH LATER โ€” real but not urgent; group these by theme so I can clear them in one sitting
4. ARCHIVE / IGNORE โ€” no action needed (say why in three words)

Then give me:
- A "Top 3 Do First" list, in priority order, with a one-sentence suggested action for each
- Any email where I'm at risk of dropping the ball (missed deadline, unanswered important person, second follow-up)
- For the 3 most important RESPOND TODAY items, a ready-to-send 2-3 sentence draft reply I can edit

Ask me for the email batch now, and if anything is ambiguous about priority, ask before guessing.
