What if going viral on Instagram wasn’t luck?

It’s a simple 2-prompt system: take a video that already went viral, figure out exactly why it worked, then re-record it in your own voice. Same topic, same content, just told the way you’d tell it.
You’re not inventing new content. You’re putting your face and your tone on a structure that’s already proven.

Step 1: Install the viral finder
Grab the Sort Feed extension and pin it to your toolbar. The free plan covers everything you need here.
Step 2: Find what’s already winning
Open the Instagram profile of a top creator in your niche and click the Reels tab.
Then click the Sort Feed icon and sort by “Views”.
It instantly re-orders their reels by views. Now you’re staring at their greatest hits, not their average day.
Step 3: Download the winner
Pick a reel that crushed. Hover over it and hit the download icon. Sort Feed saves the video for free, no paid plan needed.
Quick note: for the rest of this tutorial we’re switching to a different video. That Messi one barely has any text or voice, so we’re using a proper tutorial-style reel instead, that way you can see exactly how to recreate a full video start to finish. But this works for literally any video you want.
Step 4: Turn the video into text
A few easy ways to grab the script (we personally use Eleven Labs or Gemini for this step):

Captions on screen? Drop the video straight into Claude (with Code Execution on in settings) and it reads the script right off the video. Free, no extra tools.

For a clean audio transcript, we run ours through Google Gemini or our ElevenLabs account.

No accounts with either? A free transcriber like TurboScribe does the job.
Step 5: Decode why it worked (Prompt 1).
Open Claude, paste Prompt 1 below, and drop in your transcript. Claude breaks down the real hook, the structure beat by beat, the retention tricks, and the honest reason it spread. This is also where you learn what actually makes reels pop.
