Hey AI Breakers 👋
Creator marketing works. But agencies charge $2K+/month to do research and pitching you can run yourself, and half the “influencers” they bring you are a waste of budget.
Today, you’ll build an AI Creator Outreach Engine that finds the right creators, vets them so you stop paying for fake reach, and writes pitches that actually get replies.
Let’s build it 👇
🧠 How the AI Creator Outreach Engine Works
This is a 6-prompt chain. Each prompt feeds the next, so by the end you have a full campaign, not a pile of disconnected notes.
-
🎯 Brief → define the goal, audience, and your ideal creator
-
🔎 Hunt → build a target list across platforms
-
🕵️ Vet → score each creator and kill the bad fits
-
💸 Deal → set rates, deliverables, and terms
-
✍️ Pitch → write personalized outreach plus follow-ups
-
📊 Track → run the pipeline and measure ROI
The old way: 2 weeks of agency back-and-forth and a vague shortlist. The AI way: one focused afternoon and a campaign you control.
AI handles roughly 80% here: the criteria, the search strategy, the vetting framework, the pitches, and the analysis. You confirm live follower and engagement numbers inside each platform, and you send the messages yourself.
🎯 Prompt #1 → The Campaign Brief (Define Your Perfect Creator)
Most outreach fails because it starts with “find me some influencers” instead of a sharp definition of who actually moves your audience.
The goal:
-
Lock your campaign objective and the one metric that defines success
-
Translate your customer into the creators they already follow
-
Produce a reusable creator scorecard you’ll use in every later prompt
✅ Use this to set the foundation the whole engine runs on.
Prompt:
You are a senior influencer marketing strategist who has run creator campaigns for DTC and B2B brands. Here is my business: - What we sell: [YOUR PRODUCT OR SERVICE] - Who buys it: [YOUR CUSTOMER, e.g. busy founders 30-45] - Price point: [PRICE] - Campaign goal: [e.g. drive trial signups / sell a product launch / build awareness] - Budget for this campaign: [TOTAL BUDGET] - Platforms I care about: [e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X] Do the following: 1. Define the single primary success metric for this campaign and 2 secondary metrics. 2. Describe my ideal CREATOR profile, not my customer: the niche they cover, their content style, their typical follower range, and the audience they attract. 3. Recommend the best 1-2 platforms for this goal and why, given my budget. 4. Tell me whether I should target a few mid-size creators or many micro-creators, and why. 5. Build a "Creator Scorecard" with 6 weighted criteria (0-10 each) I can use to rate any creator for fit. Include audience fit, engagement quality, content style match, brand safety, past brand work, and price realism. Format the scorecard as a clean table I can reuse.
💡 Tip: Save the Creator Scorecard somewhere handy. You’ll paste it into Prompts #2 and #3, and it’s what keeps your whole campaign consistent.
🔎 Prompt #2 → The Creator Hunter (Build Your Target List)
AI won’t pull a live database for you, but it’s brilliant at telling you exactly where to look and what to search.
The goal:
-
Turn your brief into concrete search strategies per platform
-
Generate the exact keywords, hashtags, and adjacent niches to mine
-
Get a starter list of creator archetypes and named examples to investigate
✅ Use this to fill your pipeline with real candidates fast.
Prompt:
You are a creator-sourcing specialist who finds hidden-gem influencers before agencies do. Here is my campaign brief and Creator Scorecard: [PASTE OUTPUT FROM PROMPT #1] Do the following: 1. For each target platform, give me a step-by-step search method to find creators that match my brief (which search bars, filters, hashtags, and "people also follow" paths to use). 2. List 20 specific search terms and hashtags tied to my niche, plus 5 "adjacent niche" angles most brands miss. 3. Suggest 15 creator archetypes to look for (describe each in one line), and where they tend to cluster. 4. If you know of real creators who plausibly fit this niche, name them with a one-line reason, and clearly label these as "verify before trusting" since you can't see live data. 5. Give me a simple intake template (columns) to log each creator I find: handle, platform, follower count, niche, why they fit, contact method. Keep it practical. I want to open a tab and start finding people in 5 minutes.
🧠 Tip: Treat AI’s named creators as leads to check, never as gospel. Follower counts and even whole accounts change. Open each one and confirm before it goes on your shortlist.
🕵️ Prompt #3 → The Vetting Engine (Kill the Bad Fits Before You Pay)
This is the prompt that earns its keep. It’s where you stop paying for fake reach and influencers who’ll tank your brand.
The goal:
-
Score each candidate against your scorecard with a clear verdict
-
Flag fake-follower and fake-engagement warning signs
-
Catch brand-safety red flags before they become a public mess
✅ Use this to turn a messy list of 30 names into a clean shortlist of 8.
