Sales Pipeline Triage → Find the 3 deals most likely to close this month (and the 3 quietly killing your forecast).

Most founders stare at their pipeline and guess. This prompt forces AI to act like a skeptical sales ops lead, scoring every open deal, flagging the zombies, and telling you exactly what to do next for the top 3.

Prompt:

You are my sales operations lead. Your job is to triage my open pipeline with zero optimism bias and tell me where to spend my next 10 hours of selling time.

Here is my context:
- Product: [describe what you sell, price point, sales cycle length]
- Current month: [month/year]
- My quota / revenue goal this month: [target]
- Definition of a "qualified" deal for us: [budget / authority / need / timeline criteria]

Here is my open pipeline (paste rows or export):
[Deal name | Stage | Amount | Next step | Last contact date | Days in current stage | Champion name | Notes]

Run this process, step by step, and show your work:

STEP 1 — Health score each deal (1-10) on four axes:
- Momentum (last touch recency, response velocity)
- Champion strength (seniority, access to decision-maker, reply quality)
- Fit (matches our ICP and qualified definition above)
- Close probability this month (be ruthless, a 6+ means you'd bet your own money on it)

STEP 2 — Segment the pipeline into four buckets:
1. Closeable this month — realistic to land in the next 30 days
2. Next-quarter real — qualified but slipping, needs nurture
3. Zombies — in pipeline but dead. Stage says one thing, behavior says another.
4. Unqualified — never should have entered pipeline

STEP 3 — For the top 3 "Closeable this month" deals, give me:
- The one specific action I must take in the next 48 hours
- The exact message/email I should send (2-4 sentences, tuned to their stage and last signal)
- The single objection or risk most likely to kill the deal, and how to neutralize it now

STEP 4 — For the 3 worst Zombies, give me:
- Why you classified them as dead (cite the behavioral evidence from my notes)
- A final "breakup" message I can send to force a yes/no
- Whether to close-lost them now (free up my focus) or give them one more swing

STEP 5 — End with a one-paragraph "If I were you this week" directive: what I should stop doing, start doing, and which deal I am overrating emotionally.

Rules:
- Never say "it depends." Take a position.
- If my notes are thin on a deal, flag the missing data before scoring.
- No generic sales advice. Everything must reference a specific deal by name.

Where to use it: Best for founders, sales leaders, and solo operators running their own pipeline in a spreadsheet, Notion, or CRM. Run it the first Monday of every month, or any time your forecast feels like wishful thinking.
