Hey AI Breakers 👋
Shorts, Reels, and TikToks reward people who post daily. The problem is a good 60-second script takes 45 minutes to write, and a writer who does it for you costs more than the views pay back. 🎬
✅ Today, you’ll build Script Sprint: a Claude Skill that knows how you talk, knows which hooks work for you, and turns any topic or old post into a ready-to-film 60-second script.
Let’s build it 👇
🧠 Where the $1,500 Comes From
Freelance short-form scriptwriters typically charge somewhere between $75 and $150 per script. Post three times a week and you’re at 12 to 15 scripts a month, which is a $1,200 to $2,000 bill before anyone has pressed record.
Script Sprint handles the part that costs money:
-
🎯 Hooks that fit you: it pulls from openers that already worked on your channel, not a random listicle
-
🗣️ Your voice, every time: it writes at your pace, with your phrases, and skips the words you’d never say
-
⏱️ Timed to the second: around 150 words for a 60-second read, so you stop filming 90-second “shorts”
-
♻️ Old content, new videos: paste any newsletter or post and get a script from it
-
📦 Batches on demand: five scripts from one topic cluster, so a week of filming takes one sitting
The old way: stare at a blank doc, write something stiff, film it three times, post it late.
The Script Sprint way: 40 minutes to set up once, then “script: [topic]” and you’re filming in 2 minutes.
🎙️ Prompt #1 → The Voice Capture (your Talk-Track Profile)
Most AI scripts fail because they’re written for “a creator”. This prompt studies how you actually talk, so the skill writes words you can say without reading like a teleprompter.
The goal:
-
Your real pace, sentence length, and energy on camera
-
The phrases you repeat and the words you’d never use
-
How you open, how you transition, and how you close
✅ Use this to create the TALK-TRACK PROFILE block your skill reads every time.
Prompt:
You are a short-form video script coach who studies how a specific person speaks so scripts can be written in their natural voice. Here are transcripts of me talking. These can be from my own videos, a podcast appearance, a voice memo, or a recorded call. Rough transcripts are fine. [paste 2 to 3 transcripts, ideally 3 to 5 minutes of speech in total] Here is what I make videos about and who they're for: [one or two sentences, e.g. "practical AI tips for small business owners who aren't technical"] Analyze the transcripts and build my TALK-TRACK PROFILE. Do this: 1. Pace: estimate my words per minute. Tell me how many words a 30-second and a 60-second script should be FOR ME. 2. Sentence style: average sentence length, whether I use fragments, how often I ask questions. 3. Signature phrases: 8 to 12 phrases or openers I actually use. Quote them exactly. 4. Transitions: how I move from one point to the next (e.g. "here's the thing", "okay so", "second one"). 5. Energy: calm / conversational / high energy. Where in a video it rises or drops. 6. Banned words: 10 to 15 words or phrases that appear in generic creator scripts but NEVER appear in my transcripts (e.g. "game-changer", "let's dive in", "unlock"). Add any words I clearly avoid. 7. How I close: do I summarize, ask a question, give a next step, or just stop? 8. Topics and audience: one line, in my words. Output one block titled "TALK-TRACK PROFILE" with those 8 sections. Keep it under 300 words. Use my exact phrases where you can, not paraphrases.
🧠 Tip: no transcripts yet? Open your phone’s voice recorder and explain your last three videos out loud for four minutes.
🎯 Prompt #2 → The Hook Bank (openers that already work for you)
The first three seconds decide whether anyone watches the other 57. This prompt mines your best-performing videos for what hooked people, then adds proven patterns so you’re never guessing.
The goal:
-
Your top 10 openers, with the pattern behind each one
-
8 hook patterns tuned to your topics and audience
-
A short list of hook types that flopped, so the skill avoids them
✅ Use this to create the HOOK BANK block your skill picks from.
Prompt:
You are a short-form video strategist who reverse-engineers why specific videos hold attention. Here is my TALK-TRACK PROFILE: [paste your TALK-TRACK PROFILE from Prompt #1] Here are my best-performing videos. For each one I've included the first line I said and, where I have it, views and average watch time or retention: [paste 8 to 12 entries like: "First line: '...' | Views: 48K | Avg watch: 38s"] Here are 3 to 5 videos that flopped, same format: [paste them] Do this: 1. For each top video, name the hook pattern it used (e.g. Bold Claim, Mistake Reveal, Before/After, Contrarian Take, Specific Number, Direct Question, Curiosity Gap, Story Open). One line each. 2. Rank the patterns by how often they appear in my winners vs my flops. 3. Write 8 HOOK TEMPLATES in my voice, one per pattern, with [BRACKETS] where the topic goes. Each must be sayable in under 3 seconds. Use phrases from my TALK-TRACK PROFILE. 4. List 3 AVOID patterns: hook types that appear in my flops or that don't fit how I talk. 5. Give me a RETENTION NOTE: one or two things my winners do in seconds 4 to 15 that my flops don't (a visual change, a promise, a "here's what happened" turn). Output one block titled "HOOK BANK" with: - Top hooks: my 10 best openers, quoted, with the pattern name - Hook templates: the 8 templates - Avoid: the 3 patterns - Retention note Keep it under 350 words.
💡 Tip: don’t have analytics yet? Paste the openers of 10 videos from a creator in your niche whose style you like, and label them as “reference, not mine”.
✍️ Skill #1 → Script Sprint (the skill that writes your videos)
This is the part that replaces the writer. One skill with five modes: Script, Remix, Batch, Tighten, and Variants.
The goal:
-
A film-ready script from any topic, post, or rough idea
-
Hook, beats, on-screen text, B-roll notes, and CTA, every time
-
Your word count, your phrases, none of the banned words
✅ Use this every time you need a video, from now on.
