Hey AI Breakers π
Most people post content and hope. The pros reverse-engineer the winners and repeat them on purpose.
Today youβll build your Content Strategy Skill Pack: 5 Claude skills you install once that fire themselves whenever you sit down to plan content, forever.
-
β A Channel Autopsy that finds the topics, hooks, and formats actually winning
-
β An Outlier Pulse that briefs you on whatβs breaking out in your niche
-
β An Audience Bullseye that sets your ideal content mix
-
β A Breakout Detector that reverse-engineers any creatorβs growth spike
-
β A Hook Machine that writes and grades new hooks in your voice
-
β A reusable Creator Profile that powers all five
No slop. No AI slot machine. Data in, strategy out.
Letβs build it π
βοΈ The 30-Second Install (Do This First)
Forget zip files. Paste any skill block below into Claude and say:
Create this as a skill.
Thatβs the whole install. Claude writes the file, names it, and switches it on. In the Claude desktop app it shows up under Customize β Skills. In Claude Code itβs live in the same session.
π‘ Tip: Use the desktop app, not the browser.
π The One Input Every Skill Needs (Your Video Data)
Four of these skills run on a simple table of videos. Yours or a competitorβs.
Grab it from your platform analytics, or just list it by hand. All you need per video:
-
π Title
-
πͺ First line (the hook)
-
π Views
-
π¬ Format (talking head, listicle, story, etc.)
-
π Date
Thatβs the raw material. Paste it in when a skill asks for it.
π Want it automatic? If you connect a social-analytics tool or MCP to Claude, it can pull this data for you. The skills work exactly the same, the table just fills itself.
𧬠Prompt #1 β The Creator Profile Builder (Context That Powers All 5)
Every skill needs to know who you are and who youβre for. Build that once, here.
The goal:
-
Your niche and platform in plain facts
-
The one perfect viewer youβre making content for
-
The voice you want, and the styles you never want
β Use this to generate the block youβll paste into all 5 skills.
Prompt:
You are a content strategist who writes context briefs for AI systems. Interview me to build a "Creator Profile" that my content skills will read before every task. Ask me these 7 questions ONE AT A TIME. Wait for each answer before the next: 1. What platform(s) do you post on, and what format (short video, long video, written posts)? 2. What's your niche, in one sentence? 3. Who is your exact ideal viewer? Picture one person in a chair: their role, their problem, what they want. 4. What result do you help that viewer get? 5. What's your goal with content: build authority, get customers, both? 6. How do you want your content to sound? Give me 3 words. 7. What styles do you NEVER want? (e.g. clickbait, fake urgency, corporate) After my last answer, output a block titled "CREATOR PROFILE" with: -- Platform + format -- Niche: one line -- Ideal viewer: role, problem, want -- The result I deliver -- Content goal -- Voice: 3 words -- Banned styles: comma separated Rules: -- Use my words, not marketing language -- Keep the whole block under 180 words
π‘ Tip: Answer question 3 out loud and transcribe it. The more specific that one viewer is, the sharper every skill downstream gets.
π Skill #1 β The Channel Autopsy (Find Whatβs Actually Working)
If you install only one, install this. You cannot double down on whatβs working until you know whatβs working.
β Use this to build a βdo more of thisβ list backed by your own numbers.
Prompt: paste this into Claude, then say βCreate this as a skill.β
--- name: channel-autopsy description: Analyze a channel's videos to find the winning topics, hooks, and formats and produce a "do more / do less" report. Use when the user pastes a table of their own videos with view counts, or asks what is working on their channel. --- # Channel Autopsy Find the pattern behind the winners. Use the data, never generic advice. ## Creator Profile [PASTE YOUR CREATOR PROFILE FROM PROMPT #1] ## Input A table of videos (title, hook, views, format, date) and the user's average views. If the average is missing, calculate it from the table. ## How to run 1. Score each video: views divided by the average. Flag above 1.5x as a WINNER, below 0.5x as a MISS. 2. For the WINNERS only, find patterns across four dimensions: -- Topics: what subjects keep showing up -- Hooks: what the opening lines share (structure, emotion, promise) -- Formats: length, style, angle -- Timing: any day or date pattern 3. Surface 3 NON-OBVIOUS patterns the user would never spot by eye. 4. Compare winners to misses. Name the single biggest difference. ## Output -- DO MORE OF THIS: 5 specific items, each tied to the data -- DO LESS OF THIS: 3 items -- WINNING HOOKS: quote the exact opening line of every winner (the Hook Machine skill will need these later) Be specific and ruthless. No filler.
π‘ Tip: Paste your misses too, not just your hits. Claude learns the most from the gap between a winner and a flop.
π‘ Skill #2 β The Outlier Pulse (Whatβs Breaking Out Right Now)
You donβt need to scroll all day to know whatβs working in your niche. You need three competitors and their recent numbers.
β Use this as your Monday-morning briefing instead of the endless feed.
Prompt: paste this into Claude, then say βCreate this as a skill.β
--- name: outlier-pulse description: Scan competitor videos for breakout outliers and produce a weekly briefing of what is working in the niche right now. Use when the user pastes competitor video data or asks what is trending or breaking out among competitors. --- # Outlier Pulse Read the trend before it's obvious. Turn a table into a briefing. ## Creator Profile [PASTE YOUR CREATOR PROFILE FROM PROMPT #1] ## Input A table of recent competitor videos (creator, title, hook, views, date). If the user has run channel-autopsy, ask them to paste the "DO MORE OF THIS" list so you know their existing strengths. ## How to run 1. For each creator, estimate their outliers: videos getting far more views than their own normal. Rank the top 10 across all competitors. 2. For those 10, name the common threads: what topics, hooks, and angles are breaking out this week. 3. Tell the user which breakout angles they are NOT doing but should test. 4. Flag any topic that looks saturated so they don't waste a post on it. 5. Give 5 specific video ideas blending a proven breakout angle with the user's existing strengths. ## Output A short briefing: TOP OUTLIERS, WHAT'S BREAKING OUT, ANGLES TO STEAL, AVOID THESE, 5 IDEAS TO FILM. Concrete enough to shoot tomorrow.
π§ Tip: Run this weekly with the same three competitors. Any pattern that shows up two weeks running is a real trend, not noise.
π― Skill #3 β The Audience Bullseye (Your Ideal Content Mix)
The hardest question in content: how broad should you go? Too narrow and nobody finds you. Too broad and the wrong people do.
The fix is a bullseye. Your exact niche sits in the center, each ring around it a little broader.
β Use this to plan a calendar that grows reach without pulling in the wrong crowd.
Prompt: paste this into Claude, then say βCreate this as a skill.β
