Hey AI Break fam 👋 Luis & Rui here.

Everybody is talking about Claude Code. And we use it a lot, for content creation automations, building websites, and more.

But getting started can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re not technical.

Today we’re showing you the easiest and safest way to start with Claude Code, directly from your browser. No terminal. No coding experience needed.

Let’s get you set up in under 15 minutes.

What you need to start

Just two things:

  • A paid Claude account (the Pro plan at $20/month is more than enough to begin. You can upgrade to Max later if you need more usage.)

  • A GitHub account (free to create)

Think of GitHub like Google Drive, but for code. It’s where your projects live in the cloud, and it’s the bridge between you and Claude Code on the web.

Why start with the web version?

There are multiple ways to use Claude Code:

  • On the terminal

  • Inside an IDE like Visual Studio Code

  • On Claude Desktop App

  • Directly on claude.ai in your browser

The web version is the right starting point because it only connects to GitHub. It has no access to your laptop, your local folders, or your files. That makes it safer and much simpler to set up for beginners.

💡 Once you get comfortable with how it works, you can move to the terminal or Visual Studio Code. But the web version is more than enough to start building real things.
