Good Morning,
Introduction
Consider me alarmed. When the AI arms race becomes weaponized for geopolitical unipolar economic dominance, we have a problem for world-peace security and geopolitical stability including for the global economy. Trump’s administration is now likely to usher in such a scenario of U.S. exceptionalism that is a deeply destabilizing influence. Silicon Valley’s VC interests are financially aligned with this momentum. Why is this a problem? Capitalism with characteristics of technological fascism is now a more distinct possibility for America and its future. These are trends that are now accelerating in 2025. There are nefarious actors within Silicon Valley that have an ulterior agenda.
Silicon Valley investing in war technology, only leads to one possible future. A more dangerous world with less human rights and freedoms. Share this piece if that’s not the world you want to live in.

Google, Microsoft and Nvidia Show AI Infrastructure Confidence Problem
While BigTech increases capex and spending on AI Infrastructure and future compute by investing in even more AI datacenter campuses, DeepSeek has not only unravelled Nvidia, but Google and Microsoft have both missed Earnings. We are talking tens of Billions of dollars.
-
Nvidia is down nearly 21% in the last month.
-
Microsoft is down nearly 8% in the past five days.
-
Google is down nearly 7% pre-market post Earnings.
This as Italy and Taiwan have banned DeepSeek, while most Cloud computing businesses have integrated (embraced) DeepSeek into their offering, significantly undercutting model makers like OpenAI, Anthropic and Google too on cost in the process. The world in an instant, on January 20th, DeepSeek-R1 day – will never be the same. Let me explain.
Alphabet plans to invest $75 billion in capital expenditures in 2025, just about the same as Microsoft, while both of them had poor guidance. Alphabet is spending enormous sums on its Servers and Datacenters just to keep up, but overall revenue only grew not even 12% year over year.
Alphabet spent $32.3 billion on capital expenditures in 2023, so $75 billion in 2025 would be a big jump. Meta, Microsoft and others are racing and will likely spend together more than $300 Billion in 2025, mostly on AI Infrastructure. Sure, it’s nice to have revenue of $96.5 billion, but with AI Infrastructure, growing Google Cloud faster and stock buybacks, the extra money goes fast. But what else might Google be spending Billions of dollars on?
What’s wrong with America? 💣
OpenAI has partnered with Anduril, for what they term “National security missions”. What do you suppose that will lead to? Meanwhile, it’s becoming rather clear Sam Altman doesn’t actually care about humanity, with a rather weird rebranding attempt by OpenAI. How many killer robots does OpenAI’s version of “AGI”, a marketing term, imply I have to wonder? How many military personnel will be out of a job soon too as well? It won’t be long now.
In a world where Trump has declared that the U.S. take over Gaza and Palestinians should leave (where would they even go?), Google is joining the war-mongering. A world where Palantir’s stock is up 521% in the last year mostly because their friends are in power literally, is highly symbolic. Palantir Technologies Inc. is an American software company that specializes in big data analytics, mostly utilized for national defense, like figuring out who to bomb or where an enemy target might be.
Rise of the American Military AI Tech Broligarchy 🏈
Google has decided to drop their pledge not to work on Weapons and Surveillance Technology. Google hasn’t just lost its identity, it’s also seeking to profit from the more authoritarian approach of the United States. This follows Anduril building a $1 Billion manufacturing plant in Ohio, and Trump on the war path of apparent expansionism threatening Greenland, Panama and Canada. Meanwhile OpenAI went full-fledged MAGA with a Stargate AI announcement with the POTUS.
Palmer Luckey (CEO of Anduril) is in Trump’s good graces due to his Peter Thiel connections and America’s reputation is entering dangerous territory. Google can afford to be a war-monger now since fourth-quarter net income increased more than 28% to $26.54 billion from $20.69 billion a year prior. In Trump’s America, financial leverage and influence is bought and money talks. OpenAI and Anthorpic both work with the Pentagon, and U.S. AI supremacy will be used in ways that were unimaginable just a few years ago.
Nevermind that Trump’s Gaza plan would breach international humanitarian law, or that Google has an on-going antitrust case against where it might have to divest Chrome, or worse. Companies like Palantir, Scale A.I and Anduril are building a very dangerous trajectory for AI at the intersection of global conflict. Meanwhile cloud companies like Microsoft, Google and Amazon, can’t wait to get in on the party. They smell, even more lucrative National defense contracts. They want to profit on America’s A.I. Supremacy and the various MAGA ponzi schemes.
DeepSeek as a Deep Threat 🦅
DeepSeek founded in May 2023, have almost already caught up to OpenAI, founded in 2015, and America just won’t have it, competition and price wars are not welcome, with repeated mantras of “we must win”. America who has historically lost most wars (Vietnam, Korea, Iraq and Afghanistan) its entered, has no idea what might come of this.
A newly proposed law could see people in the US face significant fines or even jail time for using the Chinese AI app DeepSeek.
Google lifting its ban on weapon tech and Surveillance is downright frightening with Tycoons and a Paypal mafia inspired by Peter Thiel in charge. The removal of restrictions on AI applications in military contexts raises ethical questions about the role of technology in warfare. Ever since Project Maven back in 2018, we knew this day would come, because Google has a history of siding with the kind of evil that Venture Capitalists like a16z are all about (crypto, gaming, war-tech, any hack on the future), the Billionaires in favor of defense spending and using AI for national and a MAGA agenda. Using geopolitical conflict for financial gain is nothing new to the ruling class.
War is Profitable for Tycoons 🚨
Google has never been a responsible AI leader, and even wrote a blog defending their stance. Ex Google CEO Eric Schmidt even has a drone startup in Estonia, and China hawks have taken over the administration. BigTech is certainly going to profit from the favorable environment for the demand for war-technology. Google does historically do evil. The U.S. seems to be heading for a build-up for global conflict. Some of Google’s AI capex is likely going to weapons and Palantir-like technology. It’s going to be big business.
Anduril is building a gigantic Arsenal-1 hyperscale manufacturing facility pretending like America can be great in manufacturing again, even as munitions are projected to run out fairly quickly if America got into a hot war. Palantir and Scale AI are treated like royalty by Washington for developing tools that could upgrade the U.S. military and the Pentagon against what is seen as a rising threat in China. Meanwhile reports indicate China is building a massive wartime command base in Beijing, roughly ten times the size of the Pentagon equipped with bunkers as well.
BigTech is becoming Dark Tech 😬
The most sophisticated AI technology will and is being used for war technologies. The Ukraine war and Gaza massacre were just the beginning and asymmetric warfare and drone technology are just the tip of the acceleration in war technologies we will witness in the decade ahead. Anthropic’s CEO having a blog in favor or export controls isn’t about being ethical, it’s about falling in line. DeepSeek has made the new Billionaire founders afraid of competition. A once idealistic team, is now touting how they too can help the Pentagon. This is the America we live in today.
The U.S. speed building AI datacenter campuses isn’t about being rational or even serving shareholders any longer, it’s about staying first. It’s about keeping the U.S. the global leader in AI Supremacy. Let’s not kid ourselves. Google betraying its pledge not to build weapons or Surveillance Tech was always sort of a lie, as it kicked off what now is termed Surveillance Capitalism. Project Maven showed Google’s actual intentions, nearly a decade ago. We are all profiled not just by China and the CCP, but by our own countries and the NSA, where OpenAI have been completely co-opted by the financial elite.
The 1990s optimsm over what the internet might have become has been warped beyond recognition. The latest rebrand of technological optimism is a VC led ponzi scheme for the financial elite, and certainly doesn’t have citizens, American values, global security or even “users” top of mind.
Artificial Intelligence Making America Great Again
Silicon Valley has a lot of groupthink and moves like a hive when the time is right. There powerful Venture Capitalists, Tech CEOs and now the MAGA agenda are on full display as to what kind of a future they want to deliver to us. When Open-source solutions like DeepSeek are viewed as a national security threat, and Meta’s key foreign rival is banned in TikTok, you know American values have been degraded considerably.
We will soon have a more automated industrial military complex with AI agents making many of the decisions people used to make. Gaza showed us that humans aren’t kept in the loop when access to this kind of technology exists like deciding on where to bomb and how many civilian casualties are acceptable to eliminate a high priority target. We know already, where this will lead. It doesn’t become a deterrent, it escalates also what China is willing to do. While making certain groups of financial elite, way richer at the expense of global and world security.
As Washington rushes to bring AI to every nook and cranny of government, there will be nefarious consequences to this. Generative AI is already being used to displace workers, lay off Federal workers, and put a new kind of AI in power. This will eventually escallate to Netflix dystopian and Black Mirror like proportions. The ethics of Europe or the hopes of the Global south won’t have a say in that future, U.S. leadership in AI Supremacy will be making all the decisions for us. Always using the China threat, as the reason.
Scaling Laws, Empires and Unipolar Agendas
This could lead to killing on a vast scale. The acceleration of AI Infrastructure could one day be responsible for billions of deaths. The ultimate AI risks become more probable in such a world. It’s not a world where AI policy experts will have any say, as if they ever did. Nor will the voters in so-called democracies have the freedom to say no to such a world.
I fear for such a world. What’s clear now is AI Infrastructure isn’t about capitalism, it’s about competition. It’s about empires making choices that all of us must live with and future outcomes that are almost inevitable now with the choices being made with what will end up being trillions of dollars spent to secure AI Supremacy.
If you are as concerned as I am, please share this post. I’m not fear mongering, the direction we are heading in is perverse. When you pay OpenAI for ChatGPT, try to imagine the world you are literally funding. A dystopian battleground where we utilize our AI technologies for increasingly damaging outcomes. AI Supremacy is a self-fulfilling prophecy, where physical AI and automation at the intersection of military technology is weaponized. It will create dangers for civilization as catastrophic as nucleur weapons.
There are a lot of evangelists and writers who don’t seem to particularly care for global security, or think deeply about what this technology will do to the world. AI Infrastructure of this scale at the service of national competition, surveillance and defense only leads to greater risks.
You can expect me to be covering this angle more as it evolves. It’s very concerning to global security and civilization’s chances of not going extinct.

-
On January 20th, 2025 it was announced Palantir is eyeing funding Shield AI with $200 million.
-
On February 3rd, 2025 Palantir reported its best (Q4) earnings to date, with revenue of $828 million. Revenue increased 36% in the quarter from $608.4 million a year earlier. Palantir is a major provider of software and technology services to defense agencies.
-
OpenAI is highly likely to scale up National Defense contracts along with Anthropic to justify their outrageous valuations, and contribute to a more automated and AI-first military and national defense apparatus.
-
OpenAI’s partnership with Anduril is especially concerning. For example, OpenAI’s advanced artificial intelligence models into Anduril’s defense systems, particularly impacts and enhances counter-unmanned aircraft systems (CUAS). This integration is expected to enhance the military’s ability to assess and respond to drone threats more quickly and accurately, potentially revolutionizing battlefield tactics and operational efficiency. Anduril raised $1.5 Billion of funding in August, 2024 with a $14 Billion valuation and co-led by Founders Fund (Peter Thiel).

China has parity or superiority with the U.S. in AI controlled fighter jets and super-sonic weapons technology. The U.S. has been at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence into its military operations, particularly in air combat, but in recent years China has caught up, or surpassed them. China seems to put more emphasis on automated systems.
-
The Ukraine war has been a testing zone for the future of robots working alongside drones in a more robotic asymmetric warfare scenario. American money has made these advances possible. 2025 looks like a big year for using robots in hot combat zones. The U.S. has used Gaza and Ukraine for experiments of their AI in military tech.
-
a16z’s approach to War-tech is a major part of what it likes to call American Dynamism, correctly projecting that Space-Tech is a large component to this. Probably the most dangerous VC as far as ponzi schemes like crypto and National defense are concerned that is deteriorating trust in American institutions. So it’s predictable that a16z and Founders Fund (Peter Thiel) are main investors in National Defense in America. Venture funding for military tech & defense tech startups are setting records.

Google keeps changing its so-called AI Principles. On February 4th, 2025 it was noticed that Google has removed a pledge to abstain from using AI for potentially harmful applications, such as weapons and surveillance, according to the company’s updated “AI Principles.” Google has cracked down on activist employees in recent years with a culture that is all but destroyed. ‘Are we the baddies?’ messages on anonymous internal forums need to be posted like memes, as if it was China.

In July, 2024 Helsing had a huge round, a $487 million Series C led by General Catalyst. They develop AI software for Defense. They provide precision mass and autonomous capabilities to “democracies”. Their website is full of ideological AI spam. They specialize in things like AI for electronic warfare (Cirra) and “Autonomous Air Dominance” (Centaur). Helsing’s HQ is in Berlin, Germany.

In June, 2024 OpenAI accepted on to its Board, retired Army Gen. Paul Nakasone, formerly NSA and cyber-warfare expert. He was director of the NSA. This was the signal that OpenAI was actively working with the DoD, Pentagon and Deep state. This was the point where we knew OpenAI and Anthropic would become just like Palantir furthering U.S. interests at all costs. Sam Altman’s ties to Peter Thiel are well known. OpenAI was forced to reinstate Sam Altman as CEO on November 22nd, 2023 because its employees wanted a bigger pay day. Working with National Défense might certainly enable that.
